The brow lift, also known as the forehead lift, is designed to raise and reshape the brow area. As we age, gravity causes our eyebrows to fall. This in turn pushes extra skin to the upper eyelid, causing a tired and heavy look. Creases will tend to form between the eyes as this process accelerates.
The brow lift requires fewer invasive incisions due to endoscopic instruments. This reduces the number of sutures needed and lessens the recovery time as well. This procedure often is performed together with a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). A normal schedule can be resumed in as little as one week.
